NEARSHORING IN MÉXICO

 

With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ongoing war Russia-Ukraine, the political instability in South-East Asia, and the nascent of lithium deposit, many exporting companies are considering nearshoring in Mexico by sharing a border with the United States, having a vast number of trade agreements such as UMSCA becoming Mexico one of the most open and competitive market in the world due to the Mexico’s trade liberalization efforts.

Taking into account all these factors Mexico will be a relevant seat of arbitration in Latin America in the coming years.
