Mexico ranked the 5^th place of 150 countries in 2021 to recourse international commercial arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution method. Most of these cases are related to the energy industry due to the several amendments in oil and gas contracts, and legal reforms initiatives to modify the domestic energy legal framework.
